I do not understand why I get SQL error with the query of this file. If instead of the name of the query as Value for the table of the file .ott, use its SQL content, everything works.

what error exactly?

I've attached a file which contains 2 *.otts and the odt-file.
In both otts there're 2 tables, the first is referring to the queryname, the second takes the SQL-String.


Extract them to one directory and open the database, Formular1 has a button to open a report based on BRX_Test01.ott.
If you open BRX_Test02.ott klick on the Button and both tables will fill (if any of your Country.odb's is a registered datasource named "Country").

I found my error with your help: I wrote the error string: Cuntry.select * from “WorldAreaReport” instead: WorldAreaReport.

sry - there's a mismatch between documentation and code: use brx.savetourl instead of brx.save_to_url!

Same result, unfortunately. What does it mean "report is set invisible" ?
